We are a home services company based at 5925 Johns Rd., Bessemer, AL 35023, providing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and drain services in the Birmingham-Hoover metro area. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form, schedule online, call, text, email, or book an appointment, we may collect:

Membership details if you join our Always Ready Plan

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. Phone calls. Calls to or from Aux may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance and training.

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, Aux Home Services may send you text messages about your inquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, technician updates, service follow-ups, and promotional offers.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 205-979-0946.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers that help us deliver our messages (such as our texting platform), and only for that purpose.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

Service providers who help us run the business, such as scheduling and dispatch software, payment processors, texting and email platforms, website hosting, and analytics. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Financing partners, such as Synchrony, when you choose to apply for financing. Your application is governed by that lender's own privacy policy.
Manufacturers and distributors, when needed to register equipment, process warranty claims, or apply rebates for equipment we install.
Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aux, our customers, our employees, or others.
Business transfers. If Aux Home Services is sold, merged, or changes ownership, customer information may transfer to the new owner, who will remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.
With your consent, for any other purpose we tell you about when you agree.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how visitors use it, and measure and improve our advertising. These may include:

Advertising tools [CONFIRM which apply: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, others], which help us show our ads to people who have visited our site and measure whether those ads work.

Our website links to and embeds services run by other companies, including Synchrony (financing applications), Indeed (job applications), Google (reviews and maps), Vimeo (videos), and our Facebook, Instagram, Houzz, and BBB pages. When you use those sites or submit information to them, their own privacy policies apply, not ours. We encourage you to review them.

Job applicants: Applications submitted through Indeed are handled under Indeed's privacy policy. Information you share with us during hiring is used only to evaluate your application and for employment purposes.

Data Retention and Security

We keep your information as long as you are a customer and as long as needed afterward for warranty, service history, tax, accounting, and legal purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we limit access to employees and providers who need it to do their jobs. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Never send full credit card numbers through our website forms or by text.

Under Alabama law, if a security breach exposes certain sensitive personal information, we will notify affected individuals as the law requires.

Your Choices and Rights

Text messages: Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Emails: Click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email.
Phone calls: Ask us to stop marketing calls, and we will add you to our internal do-not-call list.
Access, correction, or deletion: Contact us to review or update your information, or to ask us to delete it. We may keep some records when the law requires it or to honor warranties and service history.

Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages, such as appointment confirmations or billing notices, while you are a customer.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
