I can't recommend Aux Home Services and Preston enough. We had an older home with tricky wiring, and Preston took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions patiently, and did excellent, careful work installing our new light fixture. He clearly knew what he was doing and didn't cut any corners (exactly what you want when it comes to electrical work in an older house). Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. The monthly service plan was easy to sign up for (covers plumbing, electrical, and HVAC... perfect for an older home). If you need an electrician in the Birmingham area, ask for Preston. Also, dispatch team were great! Highly recommend!

My experience with Aux was excellent, start to finish. A neighbor recommended them. My initial contact and request for a service call was seamless. Tyler, the technician who visited my home (the very next morning) to service the water heater, did an excellent diagnostic, and reviewed the pros and cons of replacing the 12 year old water heater. I was living on borrowed time with the old unit. Tyler was very professional, made some improvements to the piping connections, and convinced me of the benefit of becoming a member in their annual service contract for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. He was in and out within 4 hours, including a trip to his warehouse for the new water heater. I highly recommend AUX Mechanical services!

I had a very good experience. Cody replaced the gas Water Heater, expansion tank, lifted it up on a stand so it would be in code. He also had to adjust the gas and water pipes and the vent that attached to my ventilation system. He did this efficiently and left zero waste behind. He made sure I understood everything before I signed off. ALSO, I just had surgery and couldn’t use one arm, I asked if he’d mind putting on the outside faucet covers (x2) for the cold snap coming up and he didn’t mind at all. I would have understood if he had to move on to next job but he was happy to help. Just a good guy all around. I believe that AUX is lucky to have him on their team! And Casey in the office was/is easy to talk to and very patient. I appreciate her so much. Thanks AUX.

Aux Home Service is a fantastic company! We had the main water line break leading to our house. Cody Stone (who is an outstanding young man) responded almost immediately. The Aux team (Jeff Noland, Kevin Crowley and others with Cody Stone) turned off the water and spent the next three days removing rock and dirt to get us a new line. They even had to deal with the unexpected issue of the city of Vestavia sending us extremely high water pressure! They worked very hard and fixed our issues for the long term. I am very impressed and would recommend them to anyone. Sweetest conclusion, they sent us cookies a week later! Aux is worth every penny.

Service man (Christian Wade) was here for a regular HVAC check up covered by our AUX membership. He was courteous and efficient. After completing the check up, he gave us a quote for duct cleaning and replacing the intake register. We accepted the quote and paid 50% down. The date of the work is yet to be determined.

I was really impressed with Aux Home Services – they were reliable, responsive, and efficient from start to finish. The pricing was fair and transparent, and their communication was clear every step of the way. The team handled my electrical issue quickly. I will call them again for my next electrical repair or any other home service need.

I can only speak for my experience with Nick as an employee of the company. My older house had multiple plumbing challenges where the plumbing parts needed to repair the leaks were for no name brand shower faucets. The only option offered by the 4-5 other companies I obtained estimates from was to replace the whole system with a new one. I was shocked when Nick informed that he could likely find the replacement parts needed at an unconventional plumbing supply store and not have to replace to whole plumbing system. Repairing the multiple plumbing issues was much cheaper than having to replace the the system. None of the other companies even provided repairing as an option! Shout out to AUX for allowing Nick the latitude to go out and search for the parts. I am thinking most companies would not have allowed the technicians the time to do that!

Aux has a seamless process and are easy to work with. From the scheduling to the service, everyone was so nice. Christian, our technician, was very thorough and helpful. He took the time to explain things to me and answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of questions lol. Will definitely call on Aux in the future!

Adam Alexander is a life saver. It was 98 degrees outside and like 103 degrees in the house. Needless to say it was hot! He came out to fix our air unit. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and provided quick services. Unfortunately, he could not fix our unit that day but he came back the next day and fixed the issue right away. Overall, he was amazing. He gets a 10 out of 10.

I recently purchased a townhouse that was in need of some repairs and updates. I scheduled to have a plumber and an electrician from.Banks Quarles. Michael Rainey inspected my inoperable tankless water heater, and due to its age, determined it needed to be replaced. He also advised on having a surge protector installed since my home did not have one, and was likely the cause of damage to the water heater. Ted Green replaced several light fixtures and ceiling fans. A couple of electrical boxes had to be moved or added for the lights. Ted was also able to install the surge protector. Both Michael and Ted arrived promptly and were very professional and friendly. The plumbing and electrical jobs required several hours of work. The guys were patient and good at explaining the work being done. I would highly recommend having work done by either of these technicians.

The electrical service I received was above and beyond The customer service started when I received the text introducing the technician that would be arriving at my home. Top of the line. He explained everything that he had to do and took care of all my electrical needs. I would highly recommend my technician Reed Mace. He was excellent and even explained the program your business offers for yearly service. No#10.

Recently a storm took power lines down in my neighborhood, & ripped the meter & fuse box from the side of my house. Banks Quarles’ office person was wonderful, & got me scheduled asap, sent their electrician, Ted to assess the damage & help me get power back to my house. Ted rebuilt my service, handled getting the city inspector out to sign off on the work, & helped me deal with Alabama Power to get my power line restored to the house & turned back on. Ted went above & beyond to help me get my power back as soon as possible, he even helped me by getting into my garage to release the electric garage door so I could get my car out! He was so very helpful, polite, pleasant, & professional! He is a great ambassador for the Banks Quarles company! I cannot reccomed Banks Quarles highly enough! A hundred stars!😊

Seth, Dalton, Gator and Anthony spent all day at our house installing a new inside and outside unit. They were professional, respectful and efficient. Anthony cleaned our ducts without judgment (4 kids). Seth stayed late to be sure everything was functioning properly and pristine. He even loved on our attention needing puppy without complaint. They answered my multiple questions with enthusiasm. I 100% recommend! It was truly a pleasure doing business with this company. These guys are rare and this crew worked exceptionally well together.

Aux Home Services is fantastic! They solved a repeat HVAC and electrical issue that no other company could, plus addressed some other problems we needed fixed. Paul also was very transparent with the quotes and really helpful with understanding the differences between options. I signed with the monthly subscription because of the professionalism of both.
