How often should I schedule AC maintenance?

We recommend scheduling AC maintenance once a year, ideally in the spring before heavy use begins. This ensures your system is ready for peak performance during the hottest months. Regular service helps avoid breakdowns and extends the life of your unit.

What’s included in a maintenance visit?

Our AC maintenance includes a full system inspection, cleaning of coils and components, refrigerant checks, thermostat calibration, and filter replacement if needed. We also identify any potential issues that may require attention before they turn into major problems.

Why is maintenance important for new AC systems?

Even new systems benefit from regular maintenance. Tune-ups help maintain energy efficiency, catch minor issues early, and keep manufacturer warranties valid. It’s a smart way to protect your investment from day one.

Can AC maintenance lower my energy bills?

Yes! A well-maintained system runs more efficiently, which can significantly reduce energy consumption. Dirty coils, clogged filters, and low refrigerant levels all force your system to work harder—maintenance helps prevent that.

Do you offer a maintenance plan?

Yes, we offer affordable maintenance plans with scheduled visits and exclusive customer perks. Our plans help you stay on top of air conditioning care without the hassle of remembering every season.

Is maintenance different from a repair?

Yes. Maintenance is preventative care designed to keep your system running smoothly, while repairs fix specific issues that cause breakdowns. Think of maintenance like an oil change for your car—it keeps things running reliably.

When is the best time to schedule AC maintenance?

Spring is the ideal time to schedule AC maintenance so your system is fully prepared for summer heat. However, it’s never too late—if you haven’t had your system checked recently, schedule a visit today.

How long does a maintenance visit take?

Most maintenance appointments take about 60–90 minutes, depending on your system. We’ll provide a thorough inspection without taking up your whole day.

How often should I schedule residential ac maintenance in Birmingham?

We recommend scheduling professional air conditioning maintenance in Birmingham at least once a year. This will ensure your system is ready to run efficiently when you need it most.

Can regular AC service maintenance in Birmingham actually lower my energy bills?

Yes, regular AC service maintenance in Birmingham will restore your system’s peak operating efficiency, which directly lowers your monthly utility costs.

Why is preventative maintenance important for a brand-new AC system?

Most homeowners don’t realize that almost all major HVAC manufacturers require annual professional maintenance to keep their equipment warranties valid. Skipping your yearly tune-up could leave you paying out of pocket for an expensive part that should have been covered.
