I recently purchased a townhouse that was in need of some repairs and updates. I scheduled to have a plumber and an electrician from.Banks Quarles. Michael Rainey inspected my inoperable tankless water heater, and due to its age, determined it needed to be replaced. He also advised on having a surge protector installed since my home did not have one, and was likely the cause of damage to the water heater. Ted Green replaced several light fixtures and ceiling fans. A couple of electrical boxes had to be moved or added for the lights. Ted was also able to install the surge protector. Both Michael and Ted arrived promptly and were very professional and friendly. The plumbing and electrical jobs required several hours of work. The guys were patient and good at explaining the work being done. I would highly recommend having work done by either of these technicians.

Christian went above and beyond to help me get my air working again! He was so kind, and talked me through every step of the way! Thank you so much!!

The electrical service I received was above and beyond The customer service started when I received the text introducing the technician that would be arriving at my home. Top of the line. He explained everything that he had to do and took care of all my electrical needs. I would highly recommend my technician Reed Mace. He was excellent and even explained the program your business offers for yearly service. No#10.

Recently a storm took power lines down in my neighborhood, & ripped the meter & fuse box from the side of my house. Banks Quarles’ office person was wonderful, & got me scheduled asap, sent their electrician, Ted to assess the damage & help me get power back to my house. Ted rebuilt my service, handled getting the city inspector out to sign off on the work, & helped me deal with Alabama Power to get my power line restored to the house & turned back on. Ted went above & beyond to help me get my power back as soon as possible, he even helped me by getting into my garage to release the electric garage door so I could get my car out! He was so very helpful, polite, pleasant, & professional! He is a great ambassador for the Banks Quarles company! I cannot reccomed Banks Quarles highly enough! A hundred stars!😊

Seth, Dalton, Gator and Anthony spent all day at our house installing a new inside and outside unit. They were professional, respectful and efficient. Anthony cleaned our ducts without judgment (4 kids). Seth stayed late to be sure everything was functioning properly and pristine. He even loved on our attention needing puppy without complaint. They answered my multiple questions with enthusiasm. I 100% recommend! It was truly a pleasure doing business with this company. These guys are rare and this crew worked exceptionally well together.

Aux Home Services is fantastic! They solved a repeat HVAC and electrical issue that no other company could, plus addressed some other problems we needed fixed. Adam Alexander has been our technician two summers in a row and he is so friendly and professional and is able to thoroughly explain any issues so we understand them. We'll definitely continue using AUX for any future needs.

The serviceman, James Weaver, was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was very easy to talk with his explanations were fantastic.

Adam was awesome. He helped me understand the issues and the options that had. He completed the job and told what to expect. Paul also was very transparent with the quotes and really helpful with understanding the differences between options. I signed with the monthly subscription because of the professionalism of both.

This review is related to my recent experience with AUX Home services related to a water heater problem. My water heater stopped working. It was less than 5 years old. I called AUX because I had used them to purchase and install the failed water heater. I made an appointment Via text using their AI system. No one showed up at the appointment time. I called AUX and was told they did not show me having an appointment but did send a Tech to my house as soon as they could. The tech found that I had 3 issues. The hot water heater was bad due to a leaking tank, the house pressure regulator (they had also installed previously) was bad, and the expansion tank was bad. All these were installed by AUX and were still under warranty. So I did not have to pay for replacement for any of the 3 items. Only cost was for labor and installation. The Tech I had, whose name was Hogan, did an excellent job installing everything. He was very thorough. The only issue I have is the cost charged by AUX to do the install was very high. I was charged over $2400.00 and did not have to purchase any of the items that were replaced. While I think they have excellent quality employees I will not be using them in the future due to their high costs.

We had a stopped up sink. Service was fast efficient and the plumber checked the other sink just in case and it needed cleaning too. We appreciated his initiative.

We had the best experience with AUX. I called with a plumbing issue and a technician was on their way to my address within 30 minutes. The technician was so kind and helpful and solved our issue.

Hogan changed out our old leaking gas water heater to a new direct vent one. He was knowledgeable, professional and extremely courteous! We would definitely recommend him and Aux Home Services! Based on our experience, we will use them again for any other home needs.

Adam, the tech and Paul the comfort advisor were great. They put my mind at ease knowing AUX has the customer's best interest, not the profit in the center of their business. My furnace is a dinosaur (which I knew) but didn't know the dangers it posed until Adam showed it to me and explained the problem in plain language. So glad I called AUX.

I noticed my water bill was climbing progressively higher over the last three months. When I contacted the City of Tuscaloosa they said it sounded like I may have a leak. So I scheduled an appointment for AUX Plumbing to inspect my property for a water leak. After checking on the inside of the house, Hogan the AUX Plumbing Technician checked the yard. He found the leak was coming from the pipe link just next to the meter. A steady stream of water was shooting down into the earth is the reason we didn't see water puddling up. He did a great job of repairing the problem. Really professional, friendly and courteous service. He was also knowledgeable of his craft. I definitely recommend him and his company if you have any Plumbing Work that's needed.

Adam evaluated my HVAC system and gave me written options for maintenence. Then he carefully explained them to me. He was quick, quiet and polite!

Rep was very helpful but price is outrageous. A troubleshooting fee was $275. No work done just a trouble shoot and the fee for them to come out was $59. So I paid $334 for no work just advice.

They did everything exactly like they said. Very polite and respectful.

Hogan Wells did a complete inspection on my incoming and outgoing water supply. He wrote up a reasonable bid. I did decline to have the work done because I plan to renovate that bathroom.

I used Banks/Quarles in Tuscaloosa. Called them in the morning and had a tech dispatched within 2 hours. Nick Watkins was informative and did a great job.

I couldn't be more pleased with AUX and the services provided, Adam & Heather both were very friendly, easy to work with and super accommodating. Not only were they able to schedule quickly they made sure every step was explained in detail with amazing follow up. 10/10 would recommend.

Did not find the problem with my tankless water heater. Another service was able to find and fix the issue. Aux told me I bought a cheap brand and offered to replace it completely for an outrageous amount of money.

My kitchen sink was clogged. It took 3 technicians to finally get the sink unclogged. They did a great job and gave me advice on how to keep the drain clean. They quoted me a price and even though the first technician had to call for additional help they charged me what they quoted. This is the third time I’ve used Aux and every time they didn’t disappoint. I like the fact that they do it all, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. I will use them again.

I’ve been using Aux in the Birmingham area for over 5 years and have only had good experiences all around. Their techs are all top notch and do good work. Some of their top tier equipment and services can be pricey, but you get what you pay for. I’ve gone bargain routes in other situations and have just ended up paying more in the long run anyway. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs heating, AC, or electric.

The tech is Adam Alexander. Very professional, easy to talk to, answered my questions. He set up everything quickly. Showed me how to use the wi-fi smart thermostat app on my cell phone. I'm glad you installed the whole home air scrubber after he explained what it does.
